This Warranty Certificate outlines the terms and conditions of the limited warranty provided by Equinox
Jambs for products distributed and installed within the United States.
Warranty Coverage
• Aluminum Jambs: Covered by a limited warranty of fifteen (15) years from the date of installation.
• Solid Wood Jambs (including but not limited to White Oak, Red Oak, Walnut): Covered by a limited warranty of five (5) years from the date of installation.
• Doors: Covered by a limited warranty of five (5) years from the date of installation.
Inspection Upon Receipt
All products must be inspected immediately upon receipt. Any visible damage, defects, or shortages must be reported prior to installation. Installation of the product constitutes acceptance of the goods as delivered.
Natural Characteristics of Solid Wood
Solid wood is a natural material and may exhibit variations in grain, color, texture, knots, mineral streaks, and natural movement due to changes in temperature and humidity. These characteristics are considered normal and are not defects.
Proper Installation and Maintenance
All products must be installed by qualified professionals in accordance with industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable building codes. Solid wood products must be properly sealed, finished, and maintained to protect against moisture and environmental exposure. Failure to properly install, seal, finish, or maintain the product will void this warranty.
Warranty Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from, including but not limited to: • Improper handling, storage, or transportation
• Improper or incorrect installation
• Damage caused during or after installation
• Normal wear and tear
• Alterations, modifications, or repairs not authorized by Equinox Jambs
• Exposure to water, moisture, humidity imbalance, flooding, fire, smoke, mold, mildew, or extreme environmental conditions
• Extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to hurricanes, pets (including animals) earthquakes, or severe weather events
Any damage caused by water, fire, mold, moisture, humidity, or environmental exposure is not covered under this warranty.
Warranty Claim Procedure
All warranty claims must be submitted in writing through the authorized distributor and must include proof of purchase, installation date, photographs of the claimed defect, and a detailed description of the issue. Equinox Jambs reserves the right to inspect the product prior to approving any claim.
Limitation of Liability
Equinox Jambs’ liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product, at its sole discretion. Labor costs, removal, reinstallation, shipping, incidental, or consequential damages are excluded.
